I don’t know much about wool except that they keep you warm… can anyone tell me what hand-tufted wool means? and how do resilience and density contribute to the wool quality?…as I was reading the blog, I came across something that struck me as odd: how on earth can you have area rugs in bathrooms? won’t they get wet?

Hello Alice! I think I can answer some of your queries. tufting means inserting the fiber on the primary base, the foundation of the rug. when this is done by hand it is called hand-tufting. resilience of the wool makes for the capability of the wool to resist stain and dirt, and density is related to the strength and durability of the rug.

the colorful designs of the area rugs from the Momeni New Wave collection are really the best I have ever seen. the rugs in the first two pictures are enchanting! the second one is my favorite. I have instantly decided to buy it.

I bought an area rug from Momeni New Wave collection last year. it is a treasured possession. I have used it on the floor of my living room and it has totally changed the look and mood of the room. it is soft to walk on barefoot.

the area rug in the first picture with differently colored overlapping circles is cool!!!…can anyone tell me what this type of design is called, I don’t know much about area rug designs. I think I am going to buy this one.
