Q: Do I have to be a member to make a purchase?
A: No. Everyone can buy from Area Rugs Club.

Q: How do I join the club? Is there a membership fee?
A: By making your first purchase, you will automatically become a member and will receive Members Only sales, special discounts and other benefits. There is no membership fee.


Q: How long will it take to receive my rug?
A: Please expect to receive your rug in approximately 5-7 business days. Braided and Custom rugs will take 3 to 4 weeks. If your rug is back ordered, we will contact you by phone or email.


Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A:
Because we are located in the State of California, we are required by law to charge sales tax for all orders shipped to the State of California. However, we are offering a 8.75% discount to all orders that are shipped to California addresses to offset the tax which we collect from California residents. No tax all other states!

This discount applies only to the orders shipped to California addresses. Please enter coupon code CA-RELIEF at checkout to automatically offset the sales tax.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Paypal and GoogleCheckout. We also accept checks and money orders. Six months Layaway is also available upon request. Please call 866-680-0606 for more information.


Q: Do you sell factory "seconds" rugs?

A: No, everything we sell is first quality and brand new. We do not sell factory seconds or used products.


Q: What if my rug is damaged in shipping, or defective, or I receive an incorrect product?

A: If you notice that your rug is damaged before accepting a delivery, refuse the shipment and contact us immediately for a replacement. If you notice that your rug is damaged or you received the wrong rug after you accept the delivery, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for the rug to be picked up and replaced at no cost to you.


Q: Do you charge for shipping?

A: Shipping is FREE for all rugs and pads in the contiguous United States. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska or other countries is extra. Please contact us for a shipping quote to these areas.


Q: Is it secure to enter my personal information on your site?

A: Yes, AreaRugsClub.com is a very secure website. All information that you enter is encrypted with 128bit SSL connection and we keep all your information strictly confidential. Additionally, our website is behind a strong firewall and it is tested and certified daily to pass the McAfee Secure scan.

Q: Are the rug colors on your site accurate?

A: The photos on our website are enhanced to represent the most accurate colors. However, photos may not be actual representations of colors due to computer monitor settings and we cannot be responsible for differences in online colors and actual colors. Please use our Monitor Calibration page to tune your monitor for best color result.


Q: Do you recommend purchasing a rug pad?

A: Yes. Non-slip pads will prevent your rug from slipping and will prolong the life of both your floor and rug.


Q: How do I arrange for a return?

A: Please request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and follow our Two-Step return here
